The technology of brakes and, in particular, disk brakes (the hollow pistons transferring not enough warmth, a small amount of liquid in the cylinder, the floating brackets eliminating need for rather large supply of working liquid for the least cooled part of a wheel), allows to reduce as much as possible risk of emergence of "steam traffic jams" even in case of frequent and long use of brakes (in mountains). Nevertheless, characteristics of brake fluid worsen within the first months of operation because of small absorption of moisture a little. It causes need of replacement of brake fluid.
