In process of wear of brake slips the level of brake fluid in a tank gradually goes down.

There is no need to compensate this decrease: level will be restored at the following replacement of brake shoes. At the same time, it is impossible to allow falling of level below minimum admissible mark.

Mixing of two incompatible brake fluids in a hydraulic actuator can lead to considerable leak of liquid, mainly owing to deformation of cuffs.

Not to allow it, it is necessary to use only those brake fluids which are tested and resolved by technical department and conform to the SAE J 1703-DOT4 standard.

It is recommended to apply brake fluids of low viscosity to optimum service conditions of the brake system of the RENAULT cars at low temperatures (no more than 750 mm / with at 40 °C).
