Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Install the press device on a brake pedal to reduce amount of the following brake fluid.

Lift the car.

Turn out the rigid pipeline in a zone of a beam of a back suspension bracket and in a zone of a bracket of a brake (fig. 6.75).

Release the rigid pipeline from the holder on a beam of a back suspension bracket.

Remove the rigid pipeline.

Turn out the rigid pipeline in a zone of a beam of a back suspension bracket and in a zone of a bracket of a brake (fig. 6.76).

Release the rigid pipeline from the holder on a beam of a back suspension bracket.

Remove the rigid pipeline.

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

NOTE Make sure that brake pipelines are fixed in holders without perezhatiya and that pipelines are not gushed over with each other. At an overlap of brake pipelines ABS and system of stabilization of a trajectory (fig. 6.77) badly work.

Tighten the required moment:

– the rigid pipeline in a zone of a beam of a back suspension bracket (14 N · l);

– the rigid pipeline in a brake bracket zone (14 N · м).

Remove air from the brake system.

Removal, check and installation of a brake disk of the back brake mechanism

NOTE Brake disks are not subject to grinding. At considerable wear or existence deep рисок replace disks. When replacing brake disks, replace them complete with tromozny blocks.

Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Remove wheels.

Release cables of the drive of the parking brake (fig. 6.78).

Remember the route of laying of a cable for installation.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the directing fingers (fig. 6.79).

Establish a micrometer for measurement of thickness of a brake disk (fig. 6.80).

Measure thickness of a brake disk one after another in four points shown in the figure 6.81 on a circle (through 90 °).

Standard thickness of back brake disks: 8 mm (all engines).

If thickness is less than specified – replace disks.

Remove a bracket.

Suspend a bracket to a body.

Remove brake shoes.

Turn off bolts of fastening of a guide of blocks.

Remove:

– guides of blocks;

– caps of naves.

Turn off nuts of naves.

Remove brake disks.

Check whether there is no corrosion, wear and damage on internal walls of the cylinder. If necessary replace the cylinder case. The insignificant defects caused by corrosion or foreign particles can be eliminated with grinding of a surface a small emery cloth. Check whether there is no corrosion, wear and damage on the surface of the piston, on the directing finger and its boot, and a takzhena of a surface of a brake disk. If necessary replace the corresponding component.

Clear guides of blocks and a bracket.

NOTE Before installation apply on bolts of fastening of the directing blocks and guides of fingers of brackets structure of FREN-BLOC (or its equivalent).

Move the bracket piston in the cylinder against the stop by means of special adaptation (Fre. 1190-01).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

Tighten the required moment:

– nuts of naves (standard chassis) (220 N · l);

– nuts of naves (long-wheelbase chassis) (280 N · l);

– bolts of the directing blocks (105 N · l);

– bolts of fastening of the directing fingers (36 N · м).

Establish cables of the drive of the parking brake (fig. 6.82).

Make sure that stoppers of cables of the drive of the parking brake are correctly inserted into nests.

NOTE Press several times a brake pedal for installation of pistons into position. Check the level of brake fluid.

Pull several times for the handle of the drive of the parking brake for reduction in the working condition of system of the parking brake and device of automatic compensation of wear of brake shoes.

Establish wheels.
