Check thickness of blocks. For this purpose lift the car, remove a wheel and look through a viewing opening in the cylinder case.

Minimum thickness of brake shoes: 1 mm.

Extreme wear: 2,0 mm.

Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Remove back wheels.

Disconnect cables of the drive of the parking brake from holders.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the lower directing fingers of brackets.

Turn brake brackets (fig. 6.70) up.

Remove brake shoes.

Check a condition of elements of the brake system (replace the damaged details).

Clear guides of blocks and a bracket.

Move the piston in the cylinder against the stop by means of special adaptation (Fre. 1190-01) (fig. 6.71).

Establish new brake shoes.

Twirl bolts of fastening of the directing fingers.

NOTE Apply on a carving of the directing fingers structure of FRENBLOC (or its equivalent) before their installation.

Tighten the required moment 36 N · m bolts of the lower fastening of the directing bracket fingers.

Establish cables of the drive of the parking brake.

NOTE Press several times a brake pedal for installation of pistons into position. Pull several times for the handle of the drive of the parking brake for activization of system of the parking brake and the device of automatic compensation of wear of brake shoes.

Establish wheels.

Tighten the required moment 105 N · m wheel bolts.
