3.12.2.3. Oil discharge
ATTENTION
On transmissions with traffic jams of both options of execution when replacing and checking level of oil surely put the selector lever in position "P".

The design of drain and control traffic jams is changed.
The procedure of discharge and check of level of oil is identical to both options of execution of traffic jams.
From the automatic transmission it is necessary to merge hot oil (no more than 60 °C) to remove as much as possible pollution.
Install the car on the elevator.
Remove protection of the pallet of a case of the engine.
Old design.
Two details of the following appointment are consistently screwed in an opening:
– control stopper;
– drain tube.
For full discharge of oil from the transmission remove both knots.

For check of level of oil remove only a control stopper (fig. 3.132).

New design (fig. 3.133).
Remove:
– stopper of a control opening;
– a drain tube by means of a six-sided key with a diameter of 8 mm.
Let's flow down to oil.
ATTENTION
The picked-up drain phone is subject to obligatory replacement.

Establish a new drain tube.
Tighten the required moment:
– control stopper of an old design (25 N · l);
– drain tube of an old design (35 N · l);
– control stopper of a new design (35 N · l);
– drain tube of a new design (90 N · l);
Fill in oil in the transmission and check its level.
