2.2.11.16. Check of axial movement of a bent shaft

Establish a bent shaft.
Check existence of persistent half rings on the 3rd support (flutes of half rings have to be turned to cheeks of a bent shaft).

NOTE
The Privalochny planes of the block of cylinders and cover of the radical bearing 1 have to be pure, dry and without oil traces (do not touch them by fingers).

NOTE
Drawing too large amount of sealant can become the reason of its squeezing outside at an inhaling of fastening of details. Hit of sealant in working liquids can lead to damage of some knots and units (the engine, a radiator, etc.).

Apply two rollers of structure RHODORSEAL 5661 (or its equivalent) 1 mm wide on a support 1 (fig. 2.166).
Establish covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft, having arranged a cover 1 from a flywheel.

Tighten in that order the required moment (25 N · m + 47 ° ±5 °) also tighten on the required corner bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft (see fig. 2.149).

Check axial movement of a bent shaft (fig. 2.167).
Axial movement at new persistent half rings makes 0,045–0,252 mm.
Axial movement at the worked persistent half rings makes 0,045–0,852 mm.
Be convinced in free, without jammings rotation of a bent shaft.
