Each replacement of the shock-absorber has to be proved by results of diagnostics given below.

The noise heard at a congress from the sidewalk ("a gun shot") are connected with the characteristic of the shock-absorber and are not a malfunction sign.

Poorly heard, "whispering" sounds (a normal sound of liquid in the shock-absorber) or a crash (micromovement of the clamped brake shoes of back wheels) which are shown during the landing and an exit of passengers from the car cannot be connected with shock-absorbers.

Before replacing the shock-absorber because of "squelch", be convinced that noise proceeds not from support of an engine mount, hinges of racks of the stabilizer of cross stability (and other spherical hinges) or saylent-blocks of cups of shock-absorbers, and also check an inhaling of fastenings of cups and rods of shock-absorbers.

Before road test check an inhaling of all fastenings and hinges of forward and back suspension brackets, shock-absorbers, racks of the stabilizer of cross stability, spherical hinges and gaps in bearings.
