NOTE Before the procedure of removal, fix the indicator on the brake drum and check on it, an axial gap (admissible limits of 0-0,03 mm).

Remove the brake drum.

Take from a nave a lock ring of the bearing and the bearing by means of a press, using a piece of a pipe with an outer diameter of 49 mm (fig. 4.37).

NOTE Check that the pipe leans on an external ring of the bearing.

Press the bearing by means of a press and a piece of a pipe with an outer diameter of 50 mm against the stop in a fillet.

Establish a new lock ring.

Install the brake drum on a nave axis, previously having greased it.

Tighten the required moment:

– nave nut (175 N · l);

– bolts of fastening of wheels (105 N · м).
