Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Cut the final pipeline.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the main muffler to an arm of a pillow of a suspension bracket and remove the main muffler (fig. 2.293).

Install the main muffler and the coupling.

Tighten the required moment:

– bolts of fastening of an arm of a pillow of a suspension bracket to the muffler (8 N · l);

– bolts of fastening of an arm of a pillow of a suspension bracket to a body (21 N · м).

Tighten the coupling, unloading the final pipeline to level it.

Be convinced available and reliable fastening of all thermal screens of the final pipeline.

Make sure that the final pipeline does not adjoin to the body bottom.
