Install the car on the elevator.

Remove protection of the pallet of a case of the engine.

Cut the final pipeline.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the additional muffler to an arm of a pillow and remove the additional muffler (fig. 2.292).

NOTE If pillows of a suspension bracket are damaged, note the provision of an arm on a body, then replace a suspension bracket pillow assembled with an arm.

Cut off a pipe of the new additional muffler by the size.

Install the additional muffler and the coupling.

Tighten the required moment:

– bolts of fastening of an arm of a pillow of a suspension bracket to the additional muffler (8 N · l);

– bolts of fastening of an arm of a pillow of a suspension bracket to a body (21 N · м).

Tighten the coupling, unloading the final pipeline to level it.

Be convinced available and reliable fastening of all thermal screens of the final pipeline.

Make sure that the final pipeline does not adjoin to the body bottom.
