To remove a starter, it is necessary to remove the engine.

Remove catalytic converter.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the thermal screen and remove it.

Remove the lower strut of catalytic converter (fig. 2.273).

Disconnect starter food wires.

Turn off bolts of fastening and remove a starter (fig. 2.274).

Check existence of the adjusting plug (fig. 2.275).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

Tighten the required moment:

– bolts of fastening of a starter (38 N · l);

– nut of fastening of the lower strut of catalytic converter (21 N · l);

– bolts of fastening of the heat-shielding screen (8,5 N · м).

Attach wires to plugs of the rechargeable battery, since the plus plug.
