Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Remove the left forward wheel and a front bumper.

Remove the left forward flap.

Turn off bolts of fastening of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Establish a clip on a hose of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Turn off a bolt of fastening of the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Disconnect a fuel-supply line of high pressure from the electric pump of the amplifier of steering (fig. 5.6).

Attach a hose (Dir. 1798) to an opening of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering and an opening of the pipeline of high pressure of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Establish a bolt of fastening of the union of the pipeline of high pressure and a hose (Dir. 1798) on the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Tighten 21 N demanded by the moment · m a bolt of fastening of the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Connect the manometer (Mot. 836-05) to a hose (Dir. 1798) by means of the union "C".

Remove a clip.

Lower the car.

Fill in oil (ELF RENAULT MATIC D2) in system of the hydraulic booster of steering.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the idle engine.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the working engine.

Bring to norm oil level in a tank if necessary.

Check pressure developed by the electric pump of the amplifier of steering at the steering wheel turned in the extreme provision, the maximum value of 90 bars.

Stop the engine.

Lift the car.

Establish a clip on a hose of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Remove the manometer (Mot. 836-05) and union "C".

Turn off a bolt of fastening of a hose (Dir. 1798) and the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Attach the union of a fuel-supply line of high pressure to the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Establish a bolt of fastening of the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the electric pump of the hydraulic booster of steering.

Tighten 21 N demanded by the moment · m a bolt of fastening of the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the electric pump of the amplifier of steering.

Remove a clip.

Fill in oil (ELF RENAULT MATIC D2) in system of the hydraulic booster of steering.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the idle engine.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the working engine.

Bring to norm oil level in a tank if necessary.

Be convinced of lack of leaks.

Establish:

– bolts of fastening of the electric pump of the amplifier of steering;

– left forward flap;

– front bumper;

– left forward wheel.
