Install the car on the two-rack-mount elevator.

Remove protection of the pallet of a case of the engine and the right forward wheel.

Take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units.

Install clips on the bringing and taking away pipelines of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering.

Remove a collar of the bringing pipeline on the pump.

Disconnect the bringing pipeline.

Unscrew the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the pump.

Remove the pipeline of high pressure from the pump.

Establish caps on openings of pipelines and the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering not to allow pollution of system.

Turn off three bolts of fastening to a multipurpose arm and remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering (fig. 5.24).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

Tighten the required moment:

– bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering (21 N · l);

– the union of the pipeline of high pressure on the steering mechanism (21 N · м).

ATTENTION Tighten the required moment at first two bolts of fastening from a belt of the drive of the service equipment, and then a bolt from the opposite side.

ATTENTION The taken-off belt is subject to obligatory replacement. Together with a belt replace also tension and bypass rollers.

Fill in oil (ELFRENAULTMATIC D2) in system of the hydraulic booster of steering.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the idle engine.

Remove air from system, turning a steering wheel from one extreme situation in another at the working engine.

Bring to norm oil level in a tank.

Be convinced of lack of leaks.

Establish protection of the pallet of a case of the engine.
