The external rear-view mirror located from the driver has two accurately differentiated zones. The zone B gives the image, usual for rear-view mirrors. The zone A is intended for increase in traffic safety and provides the increased review zone behind, sideways from the car (fig. 1.36).

ATTENTION The objects observed in a zone A seem more remote, than actually.
