The system makes impossible start of the engine by the person who is not owning the card of Renault of this car.

The system of electronic blocking of start of the engine joins automatically in several seconds after switching off of ignition.

After start of the engine the control lamp 1 burns continuously within several seconds, then dies away. If the code is not distinguished, illumination of the reader blinks with a big frequency and start of the engine becomes impossible (fig. 1.25).

In several seconds after switching off of ignition the control lamp 1 begins to blink, and the system of electronic blocking of start of the engine (fig. 1.26) joins.

If after attempt of start of the engine the control lamp continues to blink or burns without blinking, - it indicates malfunction of system (fig. 1.27).

At malfunction of the card of Renault (illumination of the reader blinks with a big frequency) use the second card (delivered together with the car).

At any violations in work of system it is necessary to address surely on the service station Renault as only there the qualified repair of system of electronic blocking of start of the engine is possible.

In case of hindrances and/or failure at recognition of a code of the card of Renault with the "free hands" function insert the card into a cell of the reader 1 (fig. 1.28).
