The cars equipped with the "free hands" system have sensors of presence and antennas of opening of elements of a body for recognition of a card:

– the opening antenna in the external handle of each door,

– the opening antenna in a rear bumper,

– sensor of presence at the external handle of each door.

NOTE Antennas of start of the engine do not exert impact on unlocking of the car. On the contrary, it is impossible to lock the car by means of the locking switches located on external handles if the card is in a zone of start of the engine. Sensors of movement are built in presence sensors.

For work in the "free hands" mode external handles of doors are equipped:

– presence sensors for recognition of a hand of the user in combination with the reflector established on the handle;

– locking button;

– the antenna of opening which is built in the handle (fig. 7.45).

NOTE Only the cars equipped with the "free hands" system have the locking switch.

NOTE If the car was not used by about 72 h, sensors of presence are switched-off. Detection of command for unlocking, in this case is carried out by the sensor of movement of the handle. The sensor of presence and the sensor of movement of the handle are executed assembled.

Remove a rear bumper.

Separate the socket of the antenna and remove its (fig. 7.47).

Installation is made as it should be, the return to removal.

NOTE The switch of locking is checked an ohmmeter, having connected it to contacts 3 and 4. Value of resistance of the antenna of opening makes about 0,2 Ohms.
